About Us

The Addie

The Adelaide Hotel, lovingly known as “The Addie” has been located on Vulcan Street since 1865, and its name comes from a blacksmith named, James Gee. We make sure to keep the historic sentiment of The Addie by offering delicious food, drinks, and rooms for the weary traveler as well as worldwide, adventurous souls.

Having been around too long to let whatever the world throws at us stop us from sharing the love, we’re still standing strong! We take our business seriously, having gained a regular following of diners who can’t say enough about our menu, our beer garden, and our friendly staff. Our casual style is reflected in our surrounding community, but we can make an outstanding fuss for special occasions as well!

We’d like to share our welcoming dining experience with the world, but we need you to come to us so. So, when traveling near the NSW Coast of Australia, check us out and allow us to share all that our town of Moruya has to offer including Golf, Beaches, Lakes, Islands, Points, Lookouts, Art, Country Markets, Nature, and so much more!

In addition to all of the history and the surrounding things to do in Moruya, in the midst of it all remains The Adelaide Hotel. Sometimes referred to as a restaurant, a bistro, or a pub with satisfying food, beer, wine, and a host of cocktails, but we’re so grateful that we’re often referred to!

Make A Reservation

Known for being family-oriented and a favorite eatery for locals and traveling passersby along the coast of the Moruya River, the staff of the Adelaide Hotel looks forward to serving you a hearty meal inside or packing up a carryout meal to accompany you on your adventure.
